Housed at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Social Work, Cares is grounded in education. Whether educating adult services social workers, guardians and clerks of superior court, or self-advocates and family members, we are mindful of how adults learn best in the design and creation of engaging, accessible educational materials.
Workforce Training
We provide in-person, online synchronous and asynchronous, as well as on-demand self-paced trainings for professionals who work with adults with disabilities and older adults. Our trainings incorporate the latest research and best practices, which are illustrated through complex case examples with experiential activities and exercises.
